Dr David Addenbrooke grew up in the Northern Rivers, studied in Sydney and has worked in many obstetric units across the east coast of Australia. David is a strong believer in patient choice & sees himself as a patient advocate.

David specialises in obstetrics & gynaecology. He has a special interest in promoting natural birth experiences. He has experience with waterbirth & breech vaginal birth, which are available & supported in the hospital environment at Lismore Base Hospital.

David wrote this book with a former patient. It has everything in it that he usually talks to his pregnant patients about. All the tests & checkups. All the (not silly) questions that he gets from most first time mums. It also talks about some of the stuff that can go wrong.
